You can run, but you can't hide
A friend in Rouen who was trying not to be photographed. With only partial success, obviously.

Fire lane
I love this one for its tonal values although otherwise there probably isn't much to write home about.

The Sea of Galilee
As seen from the Golan Heights - if I remember correctly. The guy with the megaphone is a professor of mathematics who gave us a tour while we attended a conference on logic and set theory in Haifa.
The hand on the right side of the photo of course wasn't intended to be there, but immediately when I saw it on the contact sheet, I knew I liked it.

Paws
I'd be interested to learn what the meaning of this tradition is. Seen in Méounes-les-Montrieux in 1995.

The first cat
July 13, 1995 was a very hot day in Ollioules and around noon pretty much nobody was outside except for me and a couple of cats and dogs. I was the only one taking photos, though, while the animals where sleeping. I'll show some more in the next days, thus increasing the ratio even more.
Incidentally, this is the first cat on this blog which was so far dominated by dogs.
The Nikon with Tri-X.

Old cars
I bought an old car last month, so I thought this would be the right moment to show a photo of two old cars I shot at the beach of Tel Aviv in August 1995.
(This is obviously the end of the NYC theme week.)

Picasso
Or rather Picasso's castle in Vauvenargues. At that time (July 11, 1995), the castle wasn't yet open to the public, so everything you could see was behind fences.
