That's the name of a little river that runs through Hamburg. This is how it looked from a bridge last week when the mixture of reflections and shadows caught my eye.

In case you haven't noticed yet, this new interior series depends a lot on the usage of a flash. That's something I never did for more than 15 years (I actually despised it in a way), but for this kind of work it is not only a technical convenience, I also think it provides a certain character I'd like to have in these images.
So I bought an old SF 20 via eBay which I'm happily using now.
(You could of course use a tripod instead, but that would take away some of the spontaneity.)
