Shot from the hip

If you haven't read Shots from the Hip by "Johnny Stiletto", try to find it in a used book store somewhere. It's fun. And hipshots can be fun, too. Sometimes you might end up with a photo you really like although you can't quite explain why. Well, maybe because a dog's in there...

About this blog

I've started this blog to "force" myself to think about photography and do something with it on a daily basis. Eventually, I'll have to shoot enough good photos regularly to provide adequate supply and I don't know yet if I'll succeed, but for now it's also great fun to scan old negatives and see what's already there.

This will not be a one-photo-per-day blog in the sense of showing photos I took a few hours ago. I'll explain why I don't like this in one of my blog entries.
